looking out there for a good business idea that would be fun and I could make some side money. Also, I’m looking to start up a good online boutique for pets. Right now I’m only doing personalized collars, leashes, regular leashes etc. Message me if interested or if you have any good ideas!

How I wish I could be born like you. I wish I could be blissfully ignorant to all this distressing thoughts and experiences. Yes you have a shorter lifespan and I would never be able to write or think the same or…anything really, but it would be comfortable. Being me as I am is a constant struggle to think whether I should join the masses and just exist, living in our, my, own individual life…not that I really can. I keep thinking about being forced to conform and exist as a part of humanity, the selfish creatures that possess the intellect to do so many good things but have yet to overcome basic selfish needs and continue to destroy everything else.
Such a tragic, pathetic bunch. I can do little to change the mindset of the masses, and can do nothing to change people. So all I can do to make my existence livable is to continue on, leading a selfish life and to help as I can, while ignoring this self that resurfaces occasionally to hurt for being born a human.
I’m thankful you do not have to experience these things my pets. I shall do my best to take care of you all your lives and all others to come.

Happy Belated Valentines Day to all lovers.
If you are in the Boca Raton, FL area, there is a fabulous shelter called Animal Aid. They are a no kill shelter. You can visit their site or pop in any time from 1-5pm Thurs to Tues.
I volunteer there and the dogs and cats are great and are just waiting for a good home and someone or a family to love! <3

Small animals go in and out of places like Petsmart, Petco and Pet Supermarket daily. And like the dog and cat commercial breeding industry, injustice and cruelty continue to victimize these small animals for financial gain. Check out these vids:

Animal Aid Inc. had an adoption event this past Saturday at the Town Center Mall in Boca and of course I couldn’t leave without taking one home. I’ll be posting up pics about how he’s getting along, cute little guy but his coat could use some TLC.

Recently made the transition to college and so far so good (not like anyone reading this would care about my life). Point is, I have been a tad busy and haven’t seen or researched anything to post recently. But I was just researching articles for a class and found some pretty interesting and possibly disturbing. I really would like for people to comment, put their views out there, but I don’t think my blog is that popular and so far people haven’t.
I’ll put it out there anyways. And to make up for lack of posting. Here is my new baby!

Yea, my posts are super rare. I haven’t been able to update recently. I think I’m going to start trying to design a logo for this site and then print some cards so I can get the word out about this blog. But I’ll worry about that if I ever get my views up and getting to post regularly. Xp
In OTHER news, I want to a adopt a kitty, since I can’t get a dog. But I have no idea when that may be, i just started looking at cats available in the area. Adopt a pet, they’ll be soooo greatful. ^-^

Okay, so I have been having a bit of trouble finding some fervor to post anything recently because of some changes and the lack of feedback I’ve been getting from this blog. I mean for this to work I really wish someone could help me out and give me some response so I can know what I’m doing right and wrong…
Anyways regardless of the lack of feedback, I am posting this just to put it out there. This is a pretty simple community service idea, I realized how brilliant it would be as I was pondering what to do for my project for this semester and I realized that many students need service hours. Well alongside all you other brilliant ventures it would be so great if kids helped with educating the people they encounter and steer them clear of the commercial breeding industry, of ALL animals. It would be just a simple thing on the side, just to get more on board and for them to know that this is going on. It can be a whole different project for those hours and it would really aid those trying to shut it down just to have more people helping out.
TTFN!! Good luck to all those college goers out there who miss have their pets right there beside them!

Everyday we see a display of selfishness by humanity; whether it is as simple as one person bullying another, to murder on the news, everyday there is some act that makes me wonder if consciousness and being “better” than any other specie is worth all the trouble and horrors seen everyday. Then somewhere along the line, we see why being a person and a human being is such a beautiful thing and that restores hope… well for me at least. The violent crimes and traumatizing wars that are going on daily from as far back as history allows are all lessened by the simple things that make our lives more meaningful, from music to the remarkable relationships and bonds we form that would not exist if we were not humans.
